Sky Watch: Bromo Sunrise Moment

I’ve shared sunrise moment at Bromo captured from Kingkong Hill last week. Moving camera to the right, I saw an awesome beauty of mountainous view and caldera that still covered with thick mist.

Thick mist over caldera
A few minutes later, I saw wonderful difference.

Mount Bromo is still active and famous as a tourist attraction in East Java, Indonesia. Bromo has a height of 2392 meters above sea level and located in four regions, namely Probolinggo, Pasuruan, Lumajang and Malang Regency. The shape of Mount Bromo links between valleys and canyons with a caldera or a sand sea covering approximately 10 square kilometers. Mount Bromo has a crater with a diameter of ± 800 meters (north-south) and ± 600 meters (east-west). I’ll share the crater and how to reach it in next post.

There are 4 types of PMS and each type has its own symptoms:

PMS-type A (Anxiety):
Anxiety PMS characterized by the symptoms such as anxiety, sensitive, nervous tension, feelings of instability. Even some women experience mild to moderate depression when prior to getting period. These symptoms arise due to an imbalance of the estrogen and progesterone hormones; which estrogen is too high compared with progesterone. Giving progesterone hormone is sometimes done to relieve symptoms, but some researcher says, in patients with PMS may be lack of vitamin B6 and magnesium. A PMS sufferer should consume plenty of fibrous foods and drink less coffee.

Characterized by hungry feeling of sweet food intake such as chocolates and simple carbohydrates (usually sugar). In general, about 20 minutes after eating large amounts of sugar, the sufferer may undergo hypoglycemia symptoms such as fatigue, palpitations, severe headache that sometimes leads to unconscious. Hypoglycemia arises because insulin secretion in the body increases. Desire to eat sweet foods can be caused by stress, high salt in the diet, a lack essential fatty acids (omega 6), or a lack of magnesium.

Generally PMS type D is held in conjunction with PMS type A, only about 3% of the whole types of PMS is purely D. Type D is caused by an imbalance of progesterone and estrogenprogesterone in the menstrual cycle is too high compared to estrogen.

The combination of PMS type D and A can be caused by stress, lack of the amino acid tyrosine, absorption and retention of lead in the body, or the lack of magnesium and B vitamins, especially B6. There is also stomach cramps on the first day or the day before the coming menstruation. Many women complain abdominal pain or stomach cramps precisely. Abdominal cramps disorder is not included PMS although sometimes in conjunction with PMS symptoms.

PMS-type H (hyperhydration):

Symptoms of this type can also be felt in conjunction with other types of PMS. The swelling symptom caused by water gathering on the outside of the tissue cell because of the high intake of salt or sugar in the diet of patients. Giving diuretic drug that reduces retention (accumulation) of water and sodium in the body only reducing symptoms.
